The Commission disposed of SCN No. 47/2025 dated 11.12.2025 issued to M/s All Pakistan Edible Oil Tanker Owners Association for prima facie violation of Section 4(1) read with Section 4(2)(a) and (b) of the Competition Act, 2010. The proceedings concerned the Association's fixing of transportation charges for edible oil, ghee and fats and its queue system for lifting consignments from ports. The Commission found that the Respondent had engaged in deliberate and prolonged anti-competitive conduct, including price fixing and market division, continuing from 2019 to 2025.
